Is Gilgamesh Worth Pulling?
Since Gilgamesh is free, this section covers whether his E1 is worth getting or not. Gilgamesh is a Lightning DPS who can increase his own damage through his own offensive buffs. He pairs nicely with characters who can use their Ultimates frequently to generate his Interest stacks.
Gilgamesh's E1 allows his DEF ignore to apply to all allies, boosting their damage greatly. It also gives him a lot of ATK and Energy Regen. If you want to strengthen Gilgamesh's value for the future or if you want to keep using Saber with him, then E1 is worth getting.
Should You Pull for Gilgamesh's Light Cone?
I Am As You Behold gives Gilgamesh ATK and increases his Energy Regen. It also boosts Gilgamesh's Ultimate DMG based on its Energy cost and boosts allies' CRIT DMG through the King's Entertainment effect. It's a good damage increase for Gilgamesh, and the additional CRIT DMG can help other DPS characters in the team.
This is a good investment for Gilgamesh, but he can also use other Light Cones like A Thankless Coronation or On the Fall of an Aeon. Another thing to consider is that the Light Cone is also free during Version 4.4 when you meet the pull requirement.

As a sub-DPS, Gilgamesh's best Relic set is the Scholar Lost in Erudition for the Skill and Ultimate DMG increase. The additional CRIT Rate is also nice and makes him easier to build.
Gilgamesh's Planar Ornament is Cosmic Life Sciences Institute since it increases his Ultimate DMG by a lot due to his Ultimate's high Energy cost. Gilgamesh primarily wants ATK and crit stats to output even more damage.

For Gilgamesh's CRIT stats, prioritize getting as close to 100% CRIT Rate in combat. He gains a lot of CRIT DMG from his buffs alone, so focus on getting his CRIT rate up for consistency.
Since Gilgamesh gains a lot of SPD due to his Talent, just run him at base SPD. Try to get as much ATK as possible as well for even more damage.

Gilgamesh mostly wants Saber in his team due to their synergy. Trailblazer (Ice) can advance Saber forward and allow her to deal True DMG. Huohuo buffs the team's ATK and restores their Energy.
If Saber isn't in the team, you can use Trailblazer (Ice) and Welt as supports. Keep in mind that Gilgamesh shines with Saber, so running him as a hypercarry can be a bit lacking.

Gilgamesh's Skill damages his enemies and allows his damage to ignore a portion of the enemy's defense.
Talent Gives Interest Stacks
Gilgamesh's Talent gives him a stack of Interest whenever any ally takes action. Whenever an ally uses their Ultimate, Gilgamesh gains extra stacks of Interest. This also boosts the DMG of his own Ultimate and regenerates his Energy.
When Saber is on the team, Gilgamesh's Talent also allows him to launch a Joint Follow-Up ATK that deals damage to all enemies. This also gives him Interest.
