Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War IV Overview
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War IV is the fourth mainline entry in the real-time strategy series, Dawn of War, releasing on September 17, 2026 on Steam. The game sets players on the planet Kronus, 200 years after its debut in the original Dawn of War’s expansion, Dark Crusade. Plunged into conflict yet again, the planet has become a hospice of death and anguish as four factions–the Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, and Orks–wage war against each other.
Though a sequel to the third entry, Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War IV is a spiritual successor to the original Dawn of War. Build bases and defenses, manage your resources, command large armies, and strategize your skirmishes against enemy forces.
