Permafrost Overview
Permafrost is a story-driven survival sandbox from developer SpaceRocket Games and publisher Toplitz Productions, set in a frozen, post-apocalyptic Earth shattered by cosmic catastrophe. Players step into the role of a resourceful engineer known as a "Rook," venturing into the sub-zero urban ruins and wilderness—either solo or in co-op with up to four players—to scavenge resources, craft vital gear, repair old machinery, and build out a network of life-saving shelters.
Accompanied by a loyal rescue dog, players must continuously brave deadly blizzards, manage freezing temperatures, and navigate hostile human factions to unravel the mysteries of a cold, unforgiving world.
