Villion:Code was released in Japan on June 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch. A global release has yet to be announced. We'll be sure to update this article as soon as more information becomes available.

Villion:Code Overview

Villion:Code is a school-themed RPG developed by Compile Heart that takes place at Adhvan Resilience Academy, a school situated on a self-sustaining island in Tokyo Bay. After the island gets cut off from the outside world, students and staff begin transforming into monsters known as GEMs through the use of genome editing technology.

Gameplay features dungeon exploration and real-time action combat using "Genome Arms," weapons created by transforming a character’s arms. The game's attack and weakness elements are based on the Buddhist Six Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Space, and Consciousness.
