Time Takers Overview
Time Takers is an upcoming free-to-play third-person survival shooter developed by Mistil Games and published by NC, currently in development for PC with a global release planned for 2026. First revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2025, Time Takers centers its entire gameplay loop around the idea that time itself is both your life bar and your most valuable resource.
Blending hero shooter, survival, and battle royale elements, Time Takers places players into fast-paced 3v3 matches where every second matters. Players collect and manage Time Energy to stay alive, strengthen abilities, revive teammates, and shift the flow of combat, creating constant tradeoffs between survival and power. Rather than locking characters into fixed roles, the game emphasizes flexible loadouts, customizable builds, and team coordination, with each match encouraging different strategies and playstyles.
