The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in Fall 2026. Before this, the game was released in the West for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in March 2023 through NIS America.
The game originally launched in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in September 2011 under the title Ao no Kiseki. It later received additional ports for PC and PlayStation Vita in Asia over the following years.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is the direct sequel to 2011’s Trails from Zero, set several months after the events of its predecessor. Tensions surrounding the independent city-state of Crossbell begin escalating between the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard. Lloyd Bannings and the Special Support Section are then thrust into a larger conflict that threatens the future of the region itself.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 this Fall 2026. It was originally released in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable and saw localized Western releases in 2023 for modern platforms.
