The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in Fall 2026. Prior to this, the game received its official Western release in September 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, and PC through NIS America.
The title originally launched in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in 2010 under the name Zero no Kiseki, followed by a Windows version released in China in 2011. An enhanced PlayStation Vita version, titled Zero no Kiseki Evoluton, was later released in Japan in 2012.

Trails From Zero Overview
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is a role-playing game originally released in 2010 in Japan. As the opening chapter of the Crossbell duology, it sets the stage for its direct sequel, Trails to Azure.
The game follows rookie detective Lloyd Bannings after he joins the Special Support Section in the city-state of Crossbell. As the group takes on local cases, they gradually uncover larger issues tied to corruption and criminal organizations.
NIS America confirmed that PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game will launch in Fall 2026. It will feature enhanced visuals, support for up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS, and additional quality-of-life updates.
