Tales of Eternia Remastered is releasing on October 16, 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will launch for PC via Steam on October 15, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. ET / 3:00 P.M. PT, and for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at midnight local time.

Tales of Eternia Remastered Overview
Tales of Eternia Remastered is an action RPG by TOSE and Bandai Namco Entertainment, bringing back the 2000s PlayStation classic for the first time in a remastered format for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The story follows Reid Hershel and his childhood friend Farah as they encounter a mysterious girl named Meredy in their remote village, setting off a journey to deal with a catastrophic threat known as the Great Fall, a collision that would destroy both of Eternia's twin realms, Inferia and Celestia.
Combat uses the Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System, a fast-paced 2D battle engine that allows for chained combos, Arte usage, and coordinated party play. This remaster adds quality-of-life upgrades, including destination markers, an encounter toggle, and a high-speed auto-battle mode, while also letting players switch between the updated visuals and SFX and the original game's classic presentation.
