Qliphah in Providence's Shadow Overview
Qliphah in Providence’s Shadow is an upcoming tactical timeline RPG from Arc System Works and UnitePlus. In a world where Tokyo has fallen into ruin from the mysterious Collapse, reality is eroding, fusing with otherworldly realms that bring about hostile entities called Aberrations that roam the streets.
Protagonist Soma Hoshigami is attacked by one of these Aberrations, only to live through the encounter and become half-human, half-aberration. An investigator from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Public Safety Department that focuses on anomalies, Rena Hizuki, rescued him and took him into custody as "lost property".
This unlikely duo then works together to examine more of these incidents and occurrences, as well as track down the connections between the "Tiny True" narcotic drug, the infectious "Stigmas", and a cult that appears to be behind all of this insanity.
The game is set to feature an adrenaline-pumping, high-octane combat system that requires mastery of the flow of time, chaining together skills for powerful combos.
