The game had a downloadable playable demo released on February 18, 2026, which allowed players to play a snippet of the game’s second chapter. However, as of April 1st, the demo has been taken down according to the developers to "keep our focus on that final version of the game and any potential post-launch patches."

Announcement History
February 18, 2026
Annapurna Interactive and Iridium Studios released the Release Date Trailer for People of Note. It confirmed that the game would launch on April 7, 2026. Alongside the date, the developers announced a launch price of $24.99 and immediately released a playable demo on Steam. This demo would be available until April 1.
September 23, 2025 | Reveal During TGS 2025
People of Note was revealed in September 2025, during the first-ever Annapurna Interactive Tokyo Game Show Direct.
