METRO 2039 is slated to release on February 4, 2027, for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In some territories including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, the game will release on February 5, 2027.
The game will also feature a 60 FPS Performance Mode with ray tracing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X at launch. 4A Games revealed the first console gameplay of METRO 2039 during PlayStation's State of Play, captured on PS5 Pro.
