Gravhounds will enter Early Access on November 2, 2026, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with the game also available Day One on Xbox Game Pass. Playtests are currently available on the game's Steam page ahead of launch.

Gravhounds Overview
Gravhounds is a 1-4 player co-op action builder developed and published by Octopus Panic, Inc., an independent studio founded by veterans of 343 Industries and DICE, with development led by Halo 4 Creative Director and former Halo Studios head Josh Holmes. It's the studio's first game.
The game follows a crew of bioengineered, blue-collar dogs stranded on the far side of the galaxy, still expected to clock in for dangerous planetary operations. Players drop onto hostile alien planets as a pack, build and defend a base amid physics-driven chaos using turrets, generators, and pipeline networks, and extract with as much loot as they can carry before the encroaching alien swarm overwhelms them. The longer a pack pushes its luck for high-value materials, the more dangerous, and more rewarding, the mission becomes.

August 25, 2026 | Gravhounds Revealed at Gamescom ONL, Early Access Set for November 2
Gravhounds was revealed with a new trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, highlighting its co-op extraction gameplay. Octopus Panic also confirmed via press release that the game will launch into Early Access on November 2, 2026, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with Day One availability on Xbox Game Pass.
