DOOM: The Dark Ages - Revelations Overview

DOOM: The Dark Ages - Revelations is a first-person shooter campaign expansion developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. The expansion continues the saga of the DOOM Slayer, who is left wounded and betrayed in a merciless purgatory.

Gameplay builds upon the core mechanics of the base game, introducing new levels, tougher demon types, and deeper environmental puzzles, while significantly shaking up the combat loop with the introduction of the Chain Spear.

In a Slayers Club livestream about the game, director Hugo Martin mentioned that the game is "massive," and that "it’s basically like a sequel. I mean, that’s what it feels like, it’s just ginormous."
