Xbox Series X|S Version Delayed to September 3, 2026; Nintendo Crossplay Not Available at Launch
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game's Xbox Series X|S version will be delayed to September 3, 2026 due to some technical issues, according to a post on the game's official X (Twitter). However, it will continue to release on July 23, 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
The developers also noted that crossplay for Nintendo Switch will not be available at launch, and instead, will be added later on an upgrade to Deluxe Edition.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will officially launch on July 23, 2026 for Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. Notably, its PlayStation 4 version was scrapped in favor of focusing on current-generation hardware.
While it was originally expected to release on July 2, the developers pushed the release date back because they want "to cook up an exceptional Avatar adventure, including new content previously unplanned." However, players who pre-ordered the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC via Steam will gain access to a crossplay-supported beta running from July 2 to July 5, 2026.
