Atomfall Overview
Atomfall is an action survival RPG being developed by Rebellion, the developers behind the Sniper Elite series. The game was released on March 27, 2025 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and the PlayStation 4. It was also available on the Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Atomfall is set in a parallel timeline 5 years after the real-life events of the Windscale nuclear disaster that took place in Northern England. Much of the British countryside has become a post-apocalyptic quarantine zone. Its inhabitants sealed off from the rest of the continent, they must survive against the dangers of malformed creatures and human factions that have formed. Players must learn how to scavenge for supplies, craft equipment, barter with other people, and if it comes to it, fight for survival.
