Pikmin 4 is releasing on November 12, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game initially launched on July 21, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch. Digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition are not open yet, but digital pre-orders for the Upgrade Pack and physical pre-orders, priced at $69.99, are now available on the Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop. The Switch 2 edition introduces new features, including voice commands for the dog companion Oatchi and Dandori Academy Mode. Pikmin 4 Overview
Pikmin 4 is the fourth mainline entry in Nintendo’s real-time puzzle strategy series. In this pint-sized adventure, players must guide plantlike creatures called Pikmin through obstacles and enemies to find treasure and fellow Pikmin on a strange planet. Each Pikmin has unique abilities that help solve a wide array of puzzles. Set after the events of previous installments, Pikmin 4 tasks players with saving Captain Olimar, the main protagonist of past games, from an Earth-like planet named PNF-404.
