Who to Pick in the Free 5-Star Character Selector?
Best Picks: Sparkle and Kafka
| Best Free 5-Star Options | |

 Sparkle
|
 Kafka
|
Sparkle and Kafka are the best 5-star characters to pick in the Character Selector.
Sparkle has been recently buffed through Novaflare, which features a longer CRIT DMG buff, an overflowing amount of Skill Points, and RES PEN buffs. Sparkle is the best option for players who don't have her, and her Eidolons are also amazing to have.
Kafka is also a must-pick for players who want to start building a DoT team. Kafka can trigger DoTs through her kit, and can become even stronger with other DoT units such as Hysilens and Black Swan.
Great Picks: Aventurine and Acheron
| Great Free 5-Star Options | |
|---|---|
 Aventurine
|
 Acheron
|
If you already have Sparkle and Kafka, or don't plan on getting them or their Eidolons, Aventurine and Acheron are the next best characters to pick.
Despite getting powercrept recently, Aventurine is still an excellent Sustain to have for his consistent and durable Shields. Aventurine can be an option for players who need more Sustain units in their collection.
Acheron can also be a great pick for players who want a Nihility-focused team. Acheron can shine if you plan on getting her Light Cone, her 2nd Eidolon, and premium units such as Cipher or Jiaoqiu.
Other 5-Star Picks

 Jing Yuan

 Jingliu
|
 Imbibitor Lunae
|
We only recommend picking Jing Yuan, Jingliu, or Imbibitor Lunae if you want to add them to your collection. These characters will have a hard time clearing most endgame content even with their best teams.
