Swords of Legends is an upcoming single-player, cinematic action-RPG developed by Aurogon Shanghai. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the title serves as the next mainline installment in the Gujian franchise and its first to receive a Western release.
In a primordial era inspired by Chinese mythology and the Han Hai Jing text, players follow a "Sipan" or an Arbiter of the Underworld sent to ferry lost souls back from the mortal realm. The game features hack-and-slash combat combined with a unique mechanic that allows players to summon "Spirit Companions"—defeated spirits that fight alongside them.
