Monster Hunter Outlanders Hits 13 Million Pre-Registrations
Free Raya Confirmed for Launch Ahead of October 29 Release
Monster Hunter Outlanders has surpassed 13 million worldwide pre-registrations, according to an announcement from the game's official X (Twitter) account posted last October 18. The developer thanked Adventurers (Monster Hunter Outlanders players) for their "continued support" and noted that the figure includes pre-registration numbers from the Mainland Chinese version, as well as email sign-ups and store pre-registrations.
Dual Blades Adventurer Raya will join players' squads when the game officially launches, a reward celebrating the 10 million pre-registration milestone. Separately, several users asked for a possible PC port and wider regional availability. However, the developers have not addressed these requests yet.
What Is Monster Hunter Outlanders?
Monster Hunter Outlanders is a mobile spin-off of the Monster Hunter series, produced by TiMi Studio Group under a license from Capcom and built for Android and iOS. Players take on the role of Adventurers and form squads with characters such as Raya, a free Dual Blades Adventurer for launch-day players.
Additionally, during a Tokyo Game Show 2026 interview with Game8, the producers said all 14 weapon types are planned to arrive over the course of long-term operation. Full controller support is also planned, to be added in stages after release.
The team aims to introduce new Adventurers roughly every two months, while the protagonist, the Fated Adventurer, is meant to be upgraded with each update so that free-to-play players can keep up. During the same event, Capcom also revealed the elder dragon, Teostra, coming to Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance DLC in 2027.
October 29, 2026 remains the set launch date for the global release, while the Mainland Chinese version is expected sometime in 2027 onwards. Further details on the game's launch content have yet to be announced, but players can check our article below to learn more:

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
