Dispatch Celebrates One Year With New Modes, Mobile Version, and Events
Over 5 Million Players Later, AdHoc Studio Adds Extra Deluxe Content
AdHoc Studio celebrated Dispatch's 1st anniversary and 5 million total players by first releasing a Deluxe Edition update that adds two behind-the-scenes modes. Cast & Crew Commentary offers over 16 hours of audio across all eight episodes, letting players pick between a cast track and a crew track in the Settings menu.
Voices include Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham, and because the commentary changes with the choices a player makes, each playthrough can reveal something different. Storyboard Mode, on the other hand, plays the whole game with its original storyboard animatics, showing how scenes and characters looked before full production.
These are only obtainable for Digital Deluxe Edition DLC owners, which also includes the digital art book and four digital comics. However, the commentary is English-only, but the game's dialogue still shows subtitles in the chosen language. The studio's post teased what the cast might have revealed with "nothing too scandalous," and fan replies warmly thanked the team for the bonus content.
Dispatch Heads to Mobile Devices on December 9

Dispatch is also making a jump to mobile. It arrives on iOS and Android on December 9, 2026, rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play. The first four episodes will be free, so players can try the opening half of the story before deciding to continue. Unlocking the full game costs $19.99 USD, with prices varying per region.
The mobile version will be available in all regions where the PC and console versions are sold, excluding China and Japan. Pre-registration is now open on Google Play, and App Store pre-orders are listed as coming soon for now.
Physical Editions, a Live Concert, and Merch Coming

Further anniversary plans involve more offline celebrations. The physical Deluxe Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2 includes the new modes on the disc or cartridge, plus a two-sided poster, a 16-page pocket guide, and a soundtrack code. The studio is aiming to start shipping this holiday season. Meanwhile, a three-record vinyl of the soundtrack is set to ship starting in mid-November, and a hardcover making-of book called Dispatch: Design Works is planned for 2027, with pre-order details due at the end of November.
Fans interested can also go to Los Angeles to attend Night Shift, a one-night concert of the game's music at AVALON Hollywood on December 3. It's a 21+ event, with a pre-sale code going out to email subscribers on October 28, and no livestream of the event is planned.
New merch is also on sale in the studio's shop, and giveaways on Discord and the r/DispatchAdHoc subreddit are running until November 22. AdHoc’s plans to celebrate the game’s success and their fans’ support seem to be gearing up in the coming months, giving back to the community that welcomed them with open arms.

While the first-anniversary events do not include anything about a possible season 2, AdHoc Studio has previously mentioned that they were seriously considering a continuation for Dispatch after its success. These talks came immediately in November 2025, when the game reached over 1 million copies 10 days after launch.
Now that Dispatch has reached over 5 million copies sold, fans are even more hopeful about the possibility of a sequel that may just be over the horizon. For more insights on the game, feel free to check out the page below:
