NIKKE’s 4th Anniversary Introduces Stellar Blade Collab, New Characters, Free SSR
Marian, Scarlet, and Rapunzel Are the 4th Anniversary Stars
As revealed in today’s livestream, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE’s 4th Anniversary celebration comes in with plenty of new content, such as a Stellar Blade music collaboration, three new characters to add to the roster, and in-person fan celebrations.
Launching on October 29th, the 4th Anniversary update introduces Marian: Queen and Scarlet: Goddeath as recruitable NIKKEs, while Rapunzel: Sanctuary is a free SSR claimable up to four times through participating in anniversary events. Various in-game rewards will be available, with Commanders (NIKKE players) earning up to 259 free recruitment attempts during the duration of the event, with 4th Anniversary NIKKE selection boxes. These special selection boxes include:

⚫︎ Snow White: Innocent Days
Four new costumes also make their way to the game, two of which are obtained through gacha; Marian: Queen gets a “Last Affection” wedding dress costume where she “has attained happiness with her one true love,” while Snow White: Heavy Arms receives a “Lacrimosa” costume. Battle Pass costumes, Neon_Vision and Nayuta_Vision are also available on the update’s launch.
Stellar Blade, another popular action-adventure game from SHIFT UP, makes its way to the NIKKE universe with its second collaboration in the form of a soundtrack collection. Players can enjoy 22 tracks in TRACING THE STARS x Stellar Blade, added into the game with minigame backgrounds, custom note skins, and the special character appearance.
Plus a Main Story Expansion, Story Events, and a Visual Novel Adventure
The Main Story will receive an expansion, adding Main Chapters 49-50. As the full-scale 3rd Surface Recapture War is at hand, this finale chapter marks the end of the Underground Ark plotline while also setting down the foundation for a brand-new story about to unfold. Amidst that, players can also tune into the “MARIA-n” Story Event featuring Marian in an unfamiliar environment, taking steps towards discovering long hidden secrets.
Additionally, there will be a minigame called “Fading Affection,” a choice-driven text-based visual novel with branching storylines that gives players the chance to revisit memory fragments and discover unexplored endings of the past.
Taking Over Time Square Again Alongside In-Person Fan Events
NIKKE players in New York and Los Angeles can also take part in the in-person festivities. Alongside the update launch, a special NIKKE billboard on One Times Square (1475 Broadway & 42nd St.) will be on display for the entire day of October 29th. Eager fans can see Marian in action, taking over the heart of NYC, and take pictures with her.
For those in the West Coast, NIKKE will be featured in Animate Los Angeles in a special partnership for a “dedicated anniversary experience” that will feature plenty of photo displays such as the 3D illusion wall art and NIKKE-themed store decorations. Exclusive merchandise will also be on sale, and those who would stick around for a while longer can participate in special community activities. The NIKKE x Animate LA collaboration will run from October 31st to November 14th.
Spanish Language Support To Be Added
As part of NIKKE’s “growth around the globe,” the livestream also revealed that full Spanish text localization will be added to the game on October 29th.
“We are excited to welcome more Spanish-speaking players from the LATAM region with the addition of the much requested Spanish language support launching with the 4th Anniversary Update, and we will continue to do our best to deliver exciting content for all our players going forward,” said Hyongseok Yoo, VP of SHIFT UP and NIKKE’s Game Director, suggesting that with that initiative, more localizations may be in development.
