Digimon Alysion Opens Pre-Registration Within Weeks as Fans Call for PC Release and Launch Date
Digimon Alysion Pre-Registration Opens in the Next Few Weeks
Digimon Alysion, a free-to-play online card game, is finally close to taking its next step, with pre-registration on the way. After months without major news, players now have concrete signs that the game is moving toward launch.
The update came on October 16 through the official Digimon Alysion account on X. The team apologized for the wait and said pre-registration is set to open "within the next few weeks." It also said the staff is working "passionately toward a stable release" and promised more information soon. Despite the latest update and enthusiasm, the developers haven’t announced a specific registration or launch date.
Fans Welcome the News and Ask for PC Support, Wider Availability, and a Release Date

The announcement drew a large wave of replies, and many fans greeted it with relief after the long silence. Some looked ahead to Digimon’s 30th anniversary in 2027, and others hoped the game would launch more smoothly than the most recent Digimon mobile project, Digimon Up.
The most common request was a version beyond mobile. Many fans asked for PC, Steam, and console releases, and some said the storage and memory a mobile version demands could keep them from playing on their current devices. Region availability came up often as well, with fans from Brazil in particular asking whether their country will be included.

Timing drew the most frustration. Several fans wondered why the news wasn’t shared during a recent broadcast the community calls the "Digica Times", and others pointed out that "a few weeks" leaves room for another month of waiting. Some reminded the community that "within" the next few weeks could mean much sooner. With the staff and the fanbase pointing toward the same milestone, the coming weeks should show how Bandai plans to handle the rollout.
Digimon Alysion Brings the Digimon Card Game to Smartphones

Bandai revealed the game during the Digimon Con 2025 livestream on March 20, 2025, the same event that shared new details on Digimon Story Time Stranger. Early coverage suggested the game may include a story mode, and Bandai Card Games later confirmed it as a free-to-play title for Android and iOS with game-original cards, characters, and Digimon, much like its rival franchise’s mobile TCG title, Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Bandai Card Games ran a worldwide closed beta test in August 2025, and we shared our impressions in a closed beta review. According to the press release, the test involved 10,000 players, with the company evaluating the game system and server load while collecting feedback. The game is set in the same world as the Digimon Liberator webcomic and features an original story.
Digimon Alysion is a free-to-play online card game developed and published by Bandai for iOS and Android, with in-app purchases. Pre-registration is expected to open within the next few weeks, and an official release date has not been announced.
