Bloom Art Guide: How to Get FP
Build up FP by parrying attacks and use it to deploy Koo's Bloom Arts in Beast of Reincarnation. Learn how to get FP in combat and see tips to maximize the effectiveness of Koo's Bloom Arts.

Parry Attacks as EmmaParry Attacks as Emma
The easiest way to get Floresence Points (FP) for Koo is to parry enemy attacks as Emma. Time your Block by pressing L1 (PS5), LB (Xbox), or Q (PC) as the enemy is about to land a hit to achieve a parry.
Successful parries will add FP to Koo's bar at the bottom right side of the screen. Do note that once you max out on FP, succeeding parries will no longer grant you extra FP. Make sure to use Koo's Bloom Arts to avoid staying at max cap during a fight.
Learn Emma's Recovery Boost Skill
You can also generate FP by learning Emma's Recovery Boost skill under the Entanglement Overdrive section of the skill tree. When unlocked, you get a percent chance to restore Koo's FP whenever you defeat an enemy.
To gain access to Recovery Boost, invest Skill Points into Emma's Strength attribute.
Learn Photosynthesis to Increase Koo's Max FP
At higher levels, you can also opt to learn Koo's Photosynthesis skill under the Pounce section of the skill tree. However, unlike Recovery Boost, this requires a significant investment to learn (costs a whopping 80 SP to learn).
To gain access to Photosynthesis, invest Skill Points into Koo's Strength attribute.
How to Use Bloom Arts
Open Koo's Commands and Select a Bloom Art to Use

Once Koo has enough FP, press Triangle (PS5), Y (Xbox), or F (PC) to open up Koo's Command Menu. Then, select from the equipped Bloom Arts to deploy them.
Note: On PC, you physically have to hover over and click on the Bloom Art itself if you want to use it. Pressing LMB on a highlighted Bloom Art without hovering over it will not work.
Pass the Quicktime Event to Maximize the Bloom Art's Effects
After selecting the Bloom Art that Koo will use, a quicktime event (QTE) will begin. Press the indicated input within the yellow highlighted section of the circle to pass the check.
Failing a QTE will not result in the Bloom Art aborting. Instead, it will still be used but its effectiveness will be greatly reduced. This means less damage (or status affliction) and less healing for Emma.
Deploy Bloom Arts at Max FP to Deal More Damage and Stagger
The amount of damage and stagger Koo's Bloom Arts deal will depend on how full the FP gauge is. At max FP, Koo will enter Full Bloom state. Bloom Arts used while in Full Bloom will get a bonus +100% Damage and +50% Stagger.
Upgrade Bloom Arts to Increase Their Effectiveness
To make the most out of your Bloom Arts, make sure to spend SP at a camp (or at the attribute portal in the Cleanse Walker) to improve Koo's skills. Some upgrades can even reduce the amount of FP required to use certain Bloom Arts.
How to Equip Bloom Arts
Equip Different Bloom Arts via the Equipment Screen
Koo's Bloom Arts can be changed via the Equipment tab of the pause menu. Click on Koo's portrait next to Emma (near the top of the screen) to open up the Bloom Arts menu. From here, you'll be able to equip or switch out any equipped Bloom Arts.
Koo can equip a maximum of 6 Bloom Arts at any given time.

Skills Mods (unlocked in Chapter 2) can also be equipped via the Equipment menu to give Koo's Bloom Arts additional effects. However, the trade-off is that they increase the FP cost of the Bloom Art when equipped. Weigh the pros and cons of each Skill Mod if you plan to equip them.
