Pipes.exe Overview
Pipes.exe is a 1–4 player co-op horror game developed by Moving Pieces and published by Critical Reflex. Players take on the role of QA engineers tasked with testing a strange operating system known as gOS. However, what begins as a routine assignment quickly turns into a fight for survival as the digital system reveals its deadly nature.
Its levels are inspired by classic Windows and Mac screensavers from the 1990s with its geometric pipes, polygonal mazes, and surreal digital environments. Players must search for system anomalies while avoiding hostile "bugs" with gaping maws and terrifying appearances. Similar to co-op horror "friendslop" hits like REPO and Lethal Company, the game emphasizes communication and problem-solving as players work together to complete objectives and escape the dangers lurking within the system.
