Pokémon Sleep and NOT A HOTEL Reveal Giant Poké Ball Hotel Room
Special Commemoration Lakeside Retreat Available in Hokkaido
Pokémon Sleep and NOT A HOTEL released a preview of the exclusive Poké Ball Hotel, leading to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and the 3rd anniversary of Pokémon Sleep. The special accommodations are located in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, and are only available from October 8 to October 18 to participants who win the raffle draw provided by Pokémon Sleep.
Guests can customize their nighttime routine via an in-room tablet. They can also pick from eight classic Pokémon: Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, or Slowpoke, to act as their digital sleep buddy. Depending on the chosen Pokémon, the capsule's ambient lighting will shift to match that Pokémon's color scheme (e.g., Charmander would add an orange hue). Apart from the rooms, visitors will have access to an attached washroom and a Pokémon-themed lodge area.
How to Enter the Lottery Campaign
Access is strictly limited to a social media raffle draw, where 10 lucky pairs (20 guests total) will be granted a one-night, two-day vacation scheduled between October 8 and October 18, 2026. While the stay and included meals are completely free, winners must cover their own travel expenses and be legal adult residents in Japan. The entry period lasts from September 15, 2026, to September 30, 2026, with the following requirements:
⚫︎ Have the Pokémon Sleep app downloaded, and an X (Twitter) profile set to public.
⚫︎ Follow the official X account (@PokemonSleepApp).
⚫︎ Publish a post using the official campaign button, or manually tweet by tagging @PokemonSleepApp alongside the hashtag #StayInAPokéBall.
⚫︎ Stay tuned for Direct Messages. An automated link to an entry form and survey will be sent to finalize the submission.
