Lida is a member of Team MZ who joined to stay in Hotel Z, but is a dedicated member. She is studying to become a professional dancer. Her partner Pokemon is Staryu.
Lida's Name Meaning
Speculated to Mean "Firm"
Fans speculate that Lida comes from the Spanish word solida, which means solid, firm, or hard.
The reason for this is because Tierno, a character who is also a dancer from Pokemon XY, gets his name from the Spanish word for tender. Since they are both dancers, Lida's name could be a callback to the game's previous entry.
