Pokemon that Evolve by Trading Only

Pre-Evolution		Evolution
Kadabra	→	Alakazam
Machoke	→	Machamp
Haunter	→	Gengar
Pumpkaboo (Average)	→	Gourgeist (Average)
Phantump	→	Trevenant

These Pokemon need to be traded in order to evolve. For Pokemon such as Haunter, Machoke, and Kadabra who are second stage evolutions, you can trade them immediately after evolving them from their pre-evolutions.

These Pokemon need to the correct held item to evolve after being traded. This consumes the held item, so be sure to carefully choose which Pokemon you give the item to.

How to Trade Pokemon

Trade Via Link Play

Link Trade

Trading can be done anywhere once players have completed Main Mission 3: A New Life in Lumiose City. To access trading, open Link Play in the menu and select Link Trade.

Players can trade with friends via a Link Code, or online through Nintendo's matchmaking system.

How to Unlock Trading and Link Play

Galarian Slowbro and Slowking are actually not trade evos. You just have to use the Galarica Wreath/Cuff on a Galarian Slowpoke like you would an evolution stone.

You can catch wild Final Evo in the wilds, story and side quests. The only pokemon you can't catch is Scizor, Slurpuff, and Aromatisse. However! That might change in the DLC as I saw the Hyperspace that let you catch Wild Scizor. So I'm assuming you can catch Wild Slurpuff and Wild Aromatisse in one of the Hyperspace.
