How to Fix Anti-Tamper Error

Delete Monster Hunter Wilds Crash Logs

How to Find Monster Hunter Wilds Crash Logs
1 Launch Steam and go to your Game Library.
2 Right-click on Monster Hunter Wilds, select Manage, then Browse Local Files.
3 Locate and delete the files named CrashReport.exe and CrashReportDLL.dll. Make sure to make a backup just in-case deleting the files doesn't work!

The anti-tamper error is suspected to get triggered due to the game having Denuvo, so it's recommended to delete your Monster Hunter Wilds crash logs.

After deleting the crash logs, try restarting your PC and launch Monster Hunter Wilds as Administrator. You can do this by right-clicking on the .exe file and select “Run as administrator.”

Troubleshoot Your PC

As a band-aid fix, perform a general troubleshoot on your PC and perform general fixes. If these do nothing, make sure to check and update your drivers!

After performing the general troubleshoot, restart your PC.

What is the Anti-Tamper Error?

An Error That Randomly Appears When Opening the Game on Steam

The anti-tamper error is suspected to get triggered due to the game having Denuvo, and is persistent upon opening the game on Steam.

Deleting crash logs, performing general PC troubleshoots, and launching the game as administrator should fix it!
