Witchbrook Gameplay

Witchbrook is a life simulator that follows your character’s development into the respected position of Mossport’s resident witch. To achieve this, you must engage in various academic and social activities to balance and control your character’s path in life and eventually set her up for success.
It’s primarily a fantastical school life sandbox game where you are free to make decisions—life-changing or otherwise—for your character. There will be various activities to engage in, such as brewing potions, racing brooms, gathering mushrooms, and all kinds of witch-like tasks.
Currently, Witchbrook is planned to be a single-player game. However, the developers have mentioned that they’re working on adding multiplayer functionality.
A Living, Breathing Fantasy World

The town of Mossport is meant to be a world that feels fully alive and populated by a society thriving in its magical setting. The game will feature a full weather and seasonal system, a day and night cycle, and flora and fauna that grow over time.
The game will also feature a dense population of NPCs ranging from academics and students at Witchbrook academy to shopkeepers and coven members, all of which will have their own backstories, schedules, and goals.
Alchemy, Divination, and Other Magical Lessons

As a student at Witchbrook Academy, players will learn how to use the magic of the world in various different ways, which are learned through classes. Alchemy classes will have players using the flora and fauna around Mossport to craft potions and remedies for certain illnesses, while divination classes let players communicate with the cosmic truths of the universe.
The lessons learned in these classes are crucial for navigating day-to-day life and helping the people of Mossport through their many problems.
Public Transportation

Witchbrook will feature a fully fleshed out traffic simulation throughout Mossport, with pedestrians, drivers, and public transport vehicles all interacting together throughout the game and reacting to the player's actions. Public transport can also be taken to travel throughout the city as well.
Romance System

Players can choose to romance certain NPC characters once certain quests have been finished and conditions have been met. One of these characters, Hana, is a fashionable and friendly face to hang out with around Witchbrook campus and has been teased by the devs as the first romanceable character.
