METRO 2039 Gameplay
METRO 2039 is an FPS that caters to intentional level design and survival but also focuses on story mixed into gameplay. Each stage is carefully put together, with environmental details and hidden paths helping guide players throughout the game, adding to the intended overall tense atmosphere.
As players go through different areas, METRO will have them strategize and plan, as stealth, combat, positioning, and managing limited resources all matter. The developers have yet to reveal other gameplay aspects, but we’ll be sure to update this section when more information has been released!
METRO 2039 Story Plot
METRO 2039's story revolves around the Stranger, a solider whose journey is shaped not just by lurking threats but by personal struggles and nightmares that are tied to his past. In 2039, the story takes on a new protagonist and veers away from Artyom, the main character from previous titles.
As players progress in the game, the story will gradually reveal both the state of the land and the character’s connection to it under a new, harsh, oppressive state of order and misleading propaganda. With different opposing factions, the Stranger must navigate through monsters and enemies, alongside resolving his own inner turmoil.
