Masters of Albion Gameplay
Base-building and Management

As a giant, floating hand that can change in size, players can design and create products, make food, clothes, and equipment for their people. Players can also construct and customize new and old buildings using modular parts and customize them for that personalized touch.
Tower Defense and Combat

When the beasts come out at night to ravage the town, players must defend against waves of evil creatures, create and arm turrets with different kinds of ammo, hire heroes to defend the town, and even take matters into their own hands and unleash different godly powers.
Heroes can be customized by giving them equipment, powering them up, and even possessing them to explore the game’s open world.
Third-Person Exploration

Masters of Albion grants players the power to possess their own people and even wildlife like wolves. When possessing, they will move from the traditional top-down view mode down to a third-person perspective where they can roam freely in the bodies of these people and creatures.
In this mode, players can explore, take on quests, fight bandits, search for treasure, and interact with the world. It is also possible to seamlessly return to an omnipotent state and help out as the giant floating hand by using magic.
Masters of Albion Story Plot
Masters of Albion Story

In Masters of Albion, players will take on the god-granted role of the Chosen One. Through their hand, the world is theirs to be shaped with only one burden: to defeat an ancient and deadly foe. The Chosen One is destined to defend the inhabitants of Albion, and to wield the Mask’s power as only one of pure blood can.
Masters of Albion Setting

As the title suggests, the game is set in Albion, the same Medieval Britain-inspired nation where the Fable series also unfolded. However, it stands independently from Fable in terms of events.
The buildings and other structures crafted and placed by the god hand cohesively bring the visual appeal of a Medieval village with timber frames, thatched roofs, and wattle-and-daub walls. Factories, farms, houses, mills (lumber or not), shops, and turrets account for a self-sufficient community that also has to protect itself from outside threats. With game progression, the setting can go from a modest settlement to sprawling, bustling towns.
Nonetheless, the buildings also incorporate elements of modern technology and fantasy, steering away from simplistic structures typically associated with the setting it is derived from.
Masters of Albion Characters
Chosen One

The player assumes the role of the Chosen One, with god-like powers to ensure safety and prosperity for the citizens of Albion. Their responsibilities intertwine with town management and defense to execute various actions only a god can do, from constructing towns to partaking in overpowered combat. They can also possess the villagers (and even pets) to go on different adventures through their eyes.
Villagers

The villagers in the game are miniature characters akin to figures on a table, only animated. True to the Anglo-Saxon-esque setting, the citizens of Albion range from knights to peasants and craftsmen, among others.
Monsters

Malevolent creatures come out at night and descend upon Albion's towns. Monsters, such as zombies, werewolves, and trolls, come in waves to attack the villagers.
