The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered Overview
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered brings a wide range of visual, performance, and gameplay upgrades to CD PROJEKT RED's open-world RPG. The remastered version includes the original base game alongside both of its major expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
Players once again take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter traveling across the war-torn Northern Kingdoms. Geralt's search for his adopted daughter Ciri takes him across a large open world filled with quests, monsters, characters, and choices that can change the course of the story.
The Remastered version improves the original experience with enhanced visuals and performance, overhauled combat and animations, improved traversal and movement, updated monster behaviors, revamped witcher Signs, improved mount handling, and a redesigned skill and character progression system. It also adds features such as transmogrification, an expanded Photo Mode, and new finishers.
The remaster is being co-developed by CD PROJEKT RED and Yigsoft, with Yigsoft previously having worked with CD PROJEKT RED on The Witcher 3 REDkit modding tool and Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch updates.
