Astrae Oratio Overview
Astrae Oratio (officially shortened to Asora) is the debut project from South Korean developer Dynamis One, a studio spearheaded by industry veterans known for their work on the Blue Archive series. The title is derived from Latin, which translates to "Prayer of the Stars." This comes more than a year after the controversial cancellation of their previous title, Project KV.
The game is widely believed to be Project AT, which publisher NCSoft identified in January 2026 as Dynamis One’s current project. According to them, the game "draws inspiration from the neo-legendary storytelling style popular in Japanese subculture."
A New Dream Begins In Tokyo '89
As revealed in the "Teaser Visual Sequential Release Episode 1." released on May 7th, the player character is referred to as a "Shunin", in a magic-filled world set in Tokyo during the 89s. As the largest metropolis in existence, Tokyo is the center and the most powerful magical dominion in the world. It appears to be an RPG, where the world is "about to undergo a new transformation unlike anything before".
The teaser also showed five factions or Clans set to appear in the game along with their respective ward locations in Tokyo, namely: Magical Activities of the Minato Girls (Minato), Seiran Fellowship (Chuo), Akina Urban Legend Research Institute (Shinjuku), Cafe Ichigo (Taito), and one mysterious, unknown clan.
