Stranger Than Heaven Deep-Dive Broadcast in May
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s (Yakuza, Like A Dragon) latest title, Stranger Than Heaven, reveals a new trailer alongside the announcement for a special broadcast for the game on May 6th. The new trailer gives a glimpse into the five different time periods and the cities across Japan that players will get to explore in the game proper, from 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965.

Episodic narrative title Dispatch is coming to Xbox this summer. It follows Robert Robertson III, a dispatcher for reformed villains, as he manages his haphazard team of misfits to solve crimes and emergencies across the city while also diving into his own relationships, feelings, and the ever-present chaos of office politics.

Alien Deathstorm Coming in 2027
What sounds like a heavy metal band is actually a sci‑fi first person shooter from Rebellion, the developers behind the Sniper Elite series and the recently released Atomfall.
Alien Deathstorm takes players to an off‑world colony ravaged by a mysterious alien threat. Assuming the role of a Combat Engineer, players must navigate the alien planet to uncover answers while surviving the terrifying Deathstorm, the game’s namesake. It is slated for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Frog Sqwad Brings Chaotic Co-op to Xbox in June
Frog Sqwad is a co-op physics-based party game where up to 8 players control frogs, using their tongues to swing, solve puzzles, and haul food through the sewers. Players gather food to meet the Swamp King’s daily quota, growing in size and eventually transforming into a Megafrog.
A demo is currently available and a playtest is open for sign-ups ahead of its 2026 release on Steam.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Gets Cost of Hope Expansion
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope is the first major DLC content for GSC Game World’s first-person immersive sim. Players return as Skif, the base game’s protagonist, as he ventures forth into two new regions: the infamous Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the Iron Forest.
Dubbed by GSC Game World as "the middle chapter of the second trilogy," the Cost of Hope DLC is but the first taste of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2’s expanding saga, with more DLC content down the line. The Cost of Hope expansion is coming this Summer on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
MOOSA: Dirty Fate Coming in 2027
MOOSA: Dirty Fate is set to release sometime in 2027 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Set in the feudal era of 17th-century Korea, players take on the role of the protagonist, who appears to be royalty bearing the title of "Your Majesty", as he sets out on a journey to eliminate the threat that has been causing a famine and insanity across his land.
Featuring exhilarating and brutal sword combat against dashing Korean-inspired landscapes, MOOSA: Dirty Fate aims to bring together myth and history all in one tale.
The Eternal Life of Goldman Releases Demo, Coming in 2026
The Eternal Life of Goldman released a demo, giving players a first look at it’s side-scrolling platforming and exploration. It focuses on precise movement instead of memorizing patterns, letting players react and adjust as they go. The demo runs for around 90 minutes and covers the opening section of the game.
The Eternal Life of Goldman is currently in development and will be released on Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
Vaunted Brings Together Quirky Aliens, Tactical RPGs, and Shooting this 2026
Vaunted is a tactical RPG from former StarCraft and Guild War devs. Blending tactical RPG mechanics with real‑time third person shooting similar to the XCOM series, Vaunted puts players in the shoes of mercenaries in a galaxy rife with chaos. Armed with a sharp narrative focus centered around its three protagonists, players get to explore their backstories and motivations through the game’s "rich RPG setup."

Hades 2 Comes to Xbox in April
Hades 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed indie roguelike Hades, is now set to arrive on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud on April 14th. Following Melinoë, the Princess of the Underworld, players explore the mythical realm and battle against Cronos, the Titan of Time, and his forces in an attempt to bring peace and balance back.
Artificial Detective Coming in 2027
Set in a dystopian future where humanity has mysteriously vanished, Artificial Detective is a third-person action-adventure where players take control of a robot detective named AD 2846 following a bizarre awakening in a megacity now teeming with rogue robots.
As its name suggests, Artificial Detective places detective work at the core of its gameplay. Players must unravel lost memories while forging deeper relationships with their pet robot dog, D.A.W.G., and a human named Mowgli. The game is coming sometime this 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

What To Expect In Xbox Partner Preview March 2026
As outlined in the official announcement, the March 2026 broadcast will feature a slate of partner-driven projects. Confirmed appearances include Stranger Than Heaven, an update on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and new looks at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, alongside "new reveals, world premieres and Xbox Games Pass announcements."
Stranger Than Heaven, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Updates Confirmed
Among these, Stranger Than Heaven is a project that has seen few updates since its reveal at The Game Awards 2024 (under the working title Project Century). It is, though, one of the more closely watched projects, particularly as it comes from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the creators of the Yakuza series. Hopefully, its appearance in the Partner Preview will provide its most substantial update yet—and perhaps even a concrete release date.
Similarly, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn was last formally showcased during the Future Games Show in June 2025, where it debuted with a reveal trailer but without a release window. In the time since, updates have been sparse, which makes this upcoming presentation an opportunity to revisit the project with a more comprehensive update.
In contrast, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl launched in November 2024 after a lengthy development cycle. Although it received a steady stream of free content updates post-launch, its promised premium DLC remains forthcoming. This Xbox Partner Preview could mean big reveals for the game, specifically regarding the first of two paid story expansions included in the game’s Season Pass.
More Big Announcements From Xbox Partners
Beyond the three aforementioned, Microsoft has also indicated that the presentation will include additional reveals, a standard expectation for Partner Previews that often serve as a platform for big announcements. As a result, speculation has quickly taken hold across multiple fandoms, with some of the most persistent discussion coming from fans of the Persona series.
Persona 4 Revival Release Date Might Get Announced
Persona 4 Revival was first announced in June 2025 during an Xbox Games Showcase, where it was introduced with a brief teaser confirming a full remake of 2008’s Persona 4, though without gameplay footage or a release window. Since then, official updates have been minimal, which leaves room for expectations that the upcoming Partner Preview could provide a more substantial look.
The anticipation is partly informed by precedent. Atlus has previously used Xbox’s events for major announcements. Persona 3 Reload, after all, was first unveiled during an Xbox event in 2023 before returning in subsequent presentations with additional trailers and details, while Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis was formally announced during the March 2024 Xbox Partner Preview. Fingers crossed that they have something big in store for Persona 4 Revival in the presentation.
Tides of Annihilation Could Receive a Release Date
Elsewhere, attention has also turned toward Tides of Annihilation, another title closely associated with previous Partner Previews. During the November 2025 broadcast, the game received an extended gameplay showcase that gave a better idea of its combat systems, but stopped short of confirming a release date.
Given this, its absence or presence in the March event will be closely watched, as similar follow-up appearances of other games in past showcases have often been used to finalize launch timing.
None of these appearances is confirmed, but the pattern of Partner Preview events has left room for expectations that at least some of these lingering questions could be addressed when the presentation airs this Thursday.
