Kuro Games Announces Kuro Onroad, Reveals Wuthering Waves: Elysium as Their First Project
Bringing the Games to Life Through Animation
Kuro Games announces the creation of their new animation brand, Kuro Onroad, aiming to bring the studio’s many games and expansive worlds to life using animation. Alongside this announcement, the studio also reveals that their first project will be a new animated series entitled Wuthering Waves: Elysium, based on the award-winning open-world gacha RPG.
The announcement of an animated series is something of a dream come true for many of the game’s fans, especially since Wuthering Waves has always been known for its compelling story, engaging gameplay, and, most importantly, its stellar presentation (read our review on the latest patch here!).
A New Character In The Works

As of this writing, there have been no announcements or reveals about what the anime will be about. We can only speculate that the series will have a separate focus on the five characters highlighted at the end of the trailer: Jinhsi, Yangyang, Hsin, Aemeath, and Cartethya. However, the biggest reveal was the showcase of a new unnamed character, shown walking alongside Cartethya along the coastline.
Kuro Games and Kuro Onroad have yet to announce the release date of the upcoming anime, and we’ll be sure to provide more information as soon as it’s available!
