Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Gets Sequel
Development Phase Begins, New Chapter On The Way
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' sequel has officially begun its development phase, following the new partnership with the game's original creator, Xia Siyuan, and his new studio Indolphinity. In an official press release from Digital Bros, 505 Games' parent company, they have announced that publisher 505 Games and Indolphinity have entered into a mutual agreement "for a new chapter of the WUCHANG series." Under the new partnership, Indolphinity will effectively lead its creation and development, while 505 Games provide the financial support of up to 21.5 million Euros and handle its global publishing at launch.
Both companies have reaffirmed their commitment to the IP, with Digital Bros even establishing a dedicated subsidiary in Chengdu in order to work closely with Indolphinity and stay rooted in its Chinese origins. As of writing, there is no project name or tentative title announced aside from the assurance of an upcoming sequel.
The Creator's Return to the IP

After Xia Siyuan's exit from Leenzee Games, the original studio that developed Wuchang, and the subsequent dissolution of the game's development team, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' fate was left in the air for quite some time. However, Digital Bros acquired the intellectual property rights from Leenzee in April 2026, allowing them to make decisions " regarding future developments and related investments."
Now, three months later, the acquisition has borne fruit and is now on its next chapter for the Wuchang IP. As Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Digital Bros, Raffi Galante, said: "We strongly believe in WUCHANG as a long-term global franchise, and partnering with Xia Siyuan and Indolphinity is a natural step in building its future." He reiterates that their priority is to amplify the original vision for the IP and providing backup with proper resources to make sure the title succeeds once again. Xia Siyuan echoed the same sentiments, saying that "We listen closely to the real voices of players and the community, and we remain firmly devoted to our original creative aspirations and cultural foundations, striving to answer everyone’s long-standing expectations with more polished quality and a more complete experience. Wuchang’s story is far from over. Together, Indolphinity and 505 Games are set out on a new journey, unfolding an entirely new chapter of WUCHANG’s story that is deeply rooted in the Eastern soil."
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers launched back in July 24, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, selling over one million units across its lifespan.
