Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream will not support Handheld Mode Boost for the Switch 2, but will still run at 1080p undocked. Nintendo also revealed details on the Mii limit, character sharing, and upload restrictions on the game.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Handheld Mode Boost, Miis, and Sharing
1080p Resolution Natively on an Undocked Switch 2

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream does not support the Nintendo Switch 2’s Handheld Mode Boost. Revealed via the game’s FAQ page on the official Nintendo site, Living the Dream will instead run natively at 1080p on handheld, making the new mode unnecessary for the upcoming life sim title.
Nintendo noted that Living the Dream’s demo, the "Welcome Version," unintentionally supports Handheld Mode Boost at the moment. A future system update scheduled for release soon will remove support for the game’s demo.
Last March 17, Nintendo shadowdropped the Handheld Mode Boost, which would launch Switch 1 games in dock mode on an undocked Switch 2 for better performance and resolution. However, the caveat is that it would disable touchscreen functionality for widely used features that benefit from it, such as face paint. Fortunately, Nintendo confirmed that Tomodachi Life will run at 1080p natively on the Nintendo Switch 2, without the need for Handheld Mode Boost.
70 Mii Limit and Character Sharing

In the same FAQ page, Nintendo also confirmed a few details regarding Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream’s player-made characters, the Miis.
Living the Dream currently has a limit of 70 Miis that can be registered in a playthrough. Compared to its 2013 predecessor, which had a limit of 100, this upcoming entry features more spaces to house several characters together. Some of these currently confirmed areas include the island hub and multi-room houses or apartments.
The FAQ also reiterated that Miis will not be directly transferable between copies of the game or other Mii-based titles such as Miitopia. Instead, players can use Mii faces registered on their console as a base to create a character in Living the Dream. This comes with the caveat that face paint made for Miis will not transfer over.
No Posting Limitations, But Switch App Remains Unsupported

When the Welcome Version demo launched on April 16, players couldn’t directly transfer footage of the game to their smart devices or upload it to the official Switch App. Fans on social media speculated that, given Living the Dream does not censor terms typed in by players, this may be a way to prevent Nintendo from being liable for them.
According to the FAQ page on the site, videos and screenshots of Living the Dream taken from the console are permitted to be posted on social networks, provided they align with Nintendo’s content guidelines.

While Nintendo gave fans free rein over uploading their gameplay footage, sending screenshots and videos directly to their smart devices or the Switch App will remain unsupported in both the demo and the full version. Other workarounds include transferring the footage via USB connection or taking a picture of the Switch and Switch 2 screen with a separate camera.
