Tides of Tomorrow Gameplay
Story-Link
Tides of Tomorrow uses DigixArt's premier Story-Link technology that elevates consequential storytelling in video games. It breaks away from traditional multiplayer formats, offering a fresh spin on narrative interaction through an asynchronous system. This creates a shared world of storytelling where past players' choices shape one's experience, and one's own decisions can, in turn, aid or challenge the players who come after.
To do so, one must select a player to follow before starting their own campaign. They can either be a friend, a stranger, or a streamer, among others. Nonetheless, for those looking for a completely solo adventure, hand-crafted paths with offline options will also be available.
Replayability Through Branching Paths

Although a single campaign run lasts 10 to 15 hours, Tides of Tomorrow ensures high replayability through the vast possibilities created by dynamically paired Story-Links. As they can see and trace the previous player's actions, it is up to them whether to stick to what's been done, diverge from it, or shake things up with wild decisions.
Narrative-Based Exploration

The game raises narrative interactivity a notch with varied segments, from adrenaline-fueled sequences to stealth navigation. These gameplay features complement the narrative-driven progression guided by someone else's playthrough.
Tides of Tomorrow Story Plot
Tides of Tomorrow Story

After the Great Flood, the fictional world of Elynd and its inhabitants have been struggling ever since. The ecological crisis creates a contrast between water and waste. Climate change has swallowed the planet whole, threatening what little remains of life with Plastemia.
The player has to find the cure, explore the ocean planet, and confront the mysterious force endangering the world. In uncovering Elynd's secrets, one will realize that they are never truly alone in this journey.
Tides of Tomorrow Setting
The narrative unfolds in the vibrant yet perilous "plasticpunk" planet of Elynd. Submerged by the Great Flood that wiped out most of its population, the survivors now cling to life on scattered floating settlements across the ocean.
