Tides of Annihilation Gameplay
Dual Frontline Battle System
The Dual Frontline Battle System is a core mechanic that lets the player fight with four spectral knight companions, all hailing from Arthurian legend. These knights can be summoned at any time to assist in combat, performing powerful moves like air combos, knock-ups, ranged arrow attacks, wide slashes, or dashes.
Two knights can be brought into battle, with two sets that can be swapped using the left and right directional buttons. Gwendolyn can enter a partnered state with one of the knights, who will synchronize their attacks with hers, as well as giving her other advantages, such as a higher dodge range with Lamorak. They can supplement her selection of weapons: Fists, Swords, and Bows. The fourth weapon is yet to be confirmed by Eclipse Glow Games.
Level-Up and Skill-Tree
The game has been confirmed to have armor, level-up, and skill-tree systems, reinforcing its action RPG roots, but Eclipse Glow Games has gone on record to say that it is nowhere near as expansive, detailed, or heavy as other games like FromSoftware's Souls games. Armor has also been confirmed to be completely aesthetic and provides no mechanical advantage to the player, although other equipment upgrades still seem to be a valid way to progress.

Tides of Annihilation Story
Tides of Annihilation blends the mythos of Arthurian legend with modern-day London, reimagining a familiar tale through the perspective of Gwendolyn, the last surviving member of the legendary Knights of the Round Table.
Fueled by vengeance and a desperate mission to save her sister, she embarks on a high-stakes journey across two worlds. However, this fusion of past and present-day Avalon is as treacherous as the creatures that inhabit it. The fabled Knights are at her behest, however, and through their combined might and Gwendolyn's cunning, they may just be able to save the day and stop the incursion.
Tides of Annihilation Setting
Tides of Annihilation is set in a post-apocalyptic, fractured version of modern-day London, serving as a modern retelling of the legend of King Arthur. Ravaged by foes hailing from Avalon, the city in the game is characterized by ruined infrastructure and fantastical, otherworldly design brought by Avalon.
Tides of Annihilation Characters
Gwendolyn
Gwendolyn is the main protagonist and lone survivor of an invasion-fractured London, and she wields the ability to summon the spectral Knights of the Round Table. She must embark on a journey to save her family and defeat the demi-gods of Avalon in revenge.
Mordred
Mordred is the key antagonist in Tides of Annihilation. In Arthurian legend, the character stood as King Arthur's nemesis and is widely portrayed as a treacherous usurper.
