Release Date To Be Announced Soon
Suikoden: STAR LEAP, the upcoming mobile title of one of Konami’s most popular RPG series, could announce its release date very soon. As posted on the game’s official X (Twitter) on June 22, the project has now reached its final stages of development.
According to the developers, the launch dates will be revealed by region and platform in the following order: iOS/Android for Japan, iOS/Android globally, and Steam globally. Konami is adopting this phased approach to ensure STAR LEAP functions stably across all regions and devices.
First Announced in March 2025
It has been quite a while since fans last heard about the development of STAR LEAP, which was first announced in March 2025 during the inaugural Suikoden live broadcast. In the months following the reveal, Konami unveiled several deep dives into core mechanics alongside a consistent rollout of character showcases for the rest of that year.
Beyond the game, they launched a bimonthly manga tie-in titled Suikoden STAR LEAP: Trails of the Stars on the Kadocomi platform and announced a broader Suikoden anime project. However, it wasn’t until this recent update that the developers shared an insight into the game’s development, and when fans can expect it to drop.
Although Konami has yet to specify STAR LEAP’s release date, hype continues to surround the franchise as the studio continues to reveal tidbits of information about the game through its social media accounts. With the game’s launch window close to being determined, fans are now excited more than ever to experience a new Suikoden title for the first time on mobile.
