Street Fighter 6 Releases Yasmine’s Move List and Second Outfit
Yasmine Arrives August 3
Street Fighter 6 (SF6) released the official gameplay trailer for newcomer Yasmine on June 17 through the game’s official YouTube channel. An accompanying Steam post went into detail about her rushdown-focused moves and her school uniform-themed second outfit. Her third outfit has yet to be revealed.
Yasmine is the first of four Year 4 characters to join the roster and the series’ first Filipina fighter. Players with the Year 4 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will be able to play her at launch on August 3. She can also be purchased individually with Fighter Coins.

Her playstyle centers on quick, forward-moving spinning attacks that close the distance to set up close-ranged sweeps and strikes. Fans of Cammy, Ken, and Juri will likely enjoy playing as Yasmine.
Eskrima, Karambit, and Bayani Mode

Yasmine is a high schooler from the Philippines whose Lolo (grandfather) taught her and her blue-haired Kuya (older brother) the country’s national martial art, Eskrima. Inspired by videos of Manon on FooTube (SF6’s in-game spoof of YouTube) to set out into the world and find her missing Kuya, she wields a karambit knife to slice and dice opponents with quick spins and sweeps.
She is a rushdown character, meaning she focuses on quickly closing the gap to overwhelm foes with a barrage of close-quarters combos. Her special, Daloy ng Tubig (Flow of Water), is a forward-moving knife attack that gets her close to her opponents.

It can be followed up with Alon (Wave), a multi-slice attack that brings her into Bayani Mode (Hero Mode). Bayani Mode makes Yasmine’s knife glow blue and powers up her succeeding attacks. It ends when the final hit in Alon is executed.

Talim ng Hangin (Blade of the Wind) is another way for Yasmine to close the gap with a spinning forward sweep and enter Bayani Mode. Mukha ng Langit (Face of Heaven) is a front flip that launches her forward, followed up by the knife-swipe attack Kulog (Thunder) and the backward-spinning attack Ulan (Rain).
While up close with enemies, Yasmine can also kick into the air with Lipad ng Agila (Flight of the Eagle). While at a distance, she can use her karambit as a boomerang with Pangil sa Likuran (Fang in the Back).

Like all SF6 fighters, Yasmine has three Super Arts at her disposal. Hiwa ng Kalangitan (Heaven’s Slice) and Nakatagong Lakas (Hidden Strength) are her Level 1 and Level 2 Super Arts, respectively, which put her in Bayani Mode. Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita (Sampaguita’s Bloom) is her Level 3 Super Art, which blasts foes away.
Outfit 2: School Uniform

Yasmine’s second outfit was revealed during the trailer: a schoolgirl uniform with a blue vest, black shorts, a pink jacket tied around the waist, sneakers, and a wide headband. Her karambit also changes form from an Eagle-themed blade with a feather charm to a pink blade with a white flower charm.
Her second outfit can be unlocked by repeatedly defeating her in Avatar Arcade Mode or with Fighter Coins, which can be purchased with real money. Her third outfit has yet to be announced.

Arjun will be the next Year 4 character released in Autumn 2026, followed by the highly anticipated Tifa Lockhart in early 2027 and Bosch in Spring 2027. To stay up to date on the latest news about the game, check out our article below!
