Street Fighter 6 has officially unveiled Tifa Lockhart as part of its Year 4 Character Pass.

Tifa Lockhart Enters the Battle
Tifa Lockhart is joining the Street Fighter 6 roster as part of the Year 4 Character Pass. The reveal was unveiled during this year’s Summer Game Fest, officially announced by Capcom through a cinematic trailer showcasing the new lineup of characters. No official gameplay footage was revealed for her character, but in the trailer animation she’s seen doing her signature dolphin punch attacks.
Tifa’s inclusion in the roster had long been rumored following a series of alleged rumors, but it was only confirmed today through the event.
She is expected to release in early 2027, alongside three other fighters coming to the game: Yasmine on August 3, 2026, Arjun in Autumn 2026, and Bosch in Spring 2027.
Street Fighter 6 Continues for its 4th Year
After the release of Ingrid on May 28, 2026, Capcom wasted no time revealing its plans for the series’ fourth year since launch, showcasing the next wave of characters joining the roster.
Among the more surprising additions is Bosch, originally introduced in the game’s World Tour mode as the protagonist’s rival, who is now becoming a fully playable fighter with a complete moveset and unique abilities. Other newcomers, including the Indian Yoga master Arjun and Karambit-wielding Filipino, Yasmine, are original characters not seen in previous Street Fighter entries, sparking curiosity among fans about their roles and fighting styles.
The Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Character Pass is now available for purchase on respective storefronts, priced at $29.99 at launch. The Ultimate Pass, which includes additional cosmetics and stages, is priced higher at around $45.99.
