New Outfit 3 Costumes Arriving May 28
Street Fighter 6 is set to launch new outfits for Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid this week. As announced by Capcom on the game’s official social media channels, players can look fresh with these new costumes on May 28.
Sagat’s Outfit 3 puts him in a black suit and tie, a classy look that has fans reminiscing about his appearance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie. Similarly, C. Viper shows off her elegant side in a black-and-red dress, complete with a short hairstyle.
Meanwhile, Alex steps out in energetic workout gear, sporting a black jacket, red-and-white shorts, a knee pad, and sneakers. Completing the set is Ingrid’s maid outfit, which serves as a clear reference to her Darkstalkers Midnight Bliss transformation.
Ingrid’s Sun Crest Zoning
Launching alongside the new outfits is Ingrid's debut. To prepare players, Capcom released a character guide video on May 22 that showcases how the parallel-world jumper plays in Street Fighter 6.
Ingrid is a fast, high-mobility zoner who controls the screen using solar-powered cosmic magic. Her strategy revolves around keeping opponents at bay with her Sun Flare and Solar Burst projectiles, which can be powered up by collecting up to four "Sun Crest" stocks.
When she isn't zoning, Ingrid utilizes her speed and Vanishing Sun teleport to close distances with frame-advantageous attacks quickly. Defensively, she relies on her Sun Rise anti-air and Sun Veil counter that nullifies incoming strikes and teleports opponents away, safely resetting the match to her preferred long-range neutral game.
Players can encounter Ingrid in World Tour after completing Chapter 12-1: Kalima of the Resistance, then checking out the new "An Extradimensional Visitor" mission in the One Fateful Day menu.
Those who purchased the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will instantly get her when she arrives. However, players can still purchase her individually using Fighter Coins. Aside from Ingrid’s release on May 28, Street Fighter 6 will also add two new game modes.
