Stellar Blade’s upcoming sequel titled Blood Rain is among the many games unveiled during this year’s Summer Games Fest.
Stellar Blade Sequel Blood Rain Officially Revealed
A New Character and Gameplay
Developer Shift Up has officially announced Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, the sequel to its 2024 action-adventure title. Formally unveiled with a gameplay trailer during 2026's Summer Game Fest showcase, the sequel introduces a distinct change of setting, trading the original's desolate environments for a neon-lit metropolis.
The reveal trailer introduced a completely new character named Evie, far removed from the Eve fans are familiar with in the first game. This time around, the new protagonist explores a futuristic cyberpunk city filled with towering skyscrapers and flying cars, while also battling against the game’s bestial threats.
Gameplay appears to be a major step up from the original, with a stronger emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. The new protagonist is also seen to have no need for Eve’s iconic hairpin sword and instead relies on her fists and shoudler blades to take down enemies.
No release date has been announced for the game yet.
