SlashZero Gameplay
SlashZero is a roguelike with combat, platforming, and exploration. Players move through different levels by chaining attacks, using aerial moves, and dashing across different stages while battling various enemies. Each run will have its own set of upgrades and build options, allowing players to customize their abilities and playstyle as they progress.
Players can also collect items, power up their characters, and experiment with different combinations to upgrade their Timehackers through Authority Keys, collecting Authority Blessings and arranging Authority Codes. With its roguelike gameplay loop, the game encourages repeated runs and skill improvement while introducing extra challenges through each attempt.
SlashZero Story Plot
In SlashZero, players start as a Timehacker tasked with getting rid of a spreading corruption that is affecting multiple timelines. Sent across different eras and dimensions, the player investigates distorted worlds and uncovers the causes of their collapse, gradually piecing together the source of the disruption.
As the journey goes on, players may see remnants of various civilizations and clues tied to the antagonist HIEROS, the Lord of the Void. The story eventually reveals itself throughout the adventure, with each timeline showing more about the inner conflicts and HIEROS driving it, all while having the Timehackers strive to stop the collapse of reality itself.
