Silver Palace's Dichotomy Beta Test opens up test access slots through a Twitch Drop raffle, allowing for more players to experience the world of Silvernia prior to its upcoming release.

The Silver Palace Dichotomy Beta Test is now ongoing, but a few lucky Detectives can snag access to the CBT through their current Twitch Drop campaign. "To give more Detectives the opportunity to enter Silvernia and begin their investigations, we have decided to launch a second round of Twitch Drops Test Access for the "Dichotomy” Beta Test!" Silver Palace developers Elementa Games wrote on an X/Twitter post on July 23rd.
To take part in the Twitch Drop access event, interested players can simply head over to the Silver Palace official website and follow the instructions. Firstly, players must log into the site with their Silver Palace account, and link it to a Twitch account. Then, the player must watch at least 30 minutes of any participating Silver Palace livestream with the Twitch Drops option enabled.
The raffle ticket is then claimed after the 30 minute threshold. If selected, the test access details will be sent to the corresponding Silver Palace account email within 48 hours.
CBT Ongoing, Gameplay Snippets Fuel Hype
Silver Palace's Beta Test began on July 22 (ET/PT)/July 23 (GMT+8), and participating players have already shared countless gameplay clips of the highly anticipated game. As of writing, it has received immense amounts of praise for its stunning visuals, high quality voice acting, interactive features between the MC and other characters, and a captivating prologue centered around the two sibling protagonists. One of the most recent viral clips shows a functional horse racing system in the game, showcased by knight character Gratia on what appears to be a mystical horse dashing through the roads of Silvernia. While it looked more like a segment of a side-quest than a full game mode, a presence of a full-fledged racing system has sparked hope.
However, other players are afraid of possible unoptimization on launch brought about by the use of Unreal Engine 5, bits of lag apparent in gameplay clips and even the official gameplay teaser for the Dichotomy Beta Test where the frame rates visibly dropped during the cinematic dance cutscene between the main character and Red Rose. Because of this, some are fearful of a disastrous launch mirroring Wuthering Waves' 1.0 in 2024. Others are not happy about the gacha system, which was reported to be similar to Arknights: Endfield's, with the lack of a 50-50 guaranteed and a high hard pity count, thus splitting the camp even more.
