Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake is the Next RE Title From Capcom
Coming in 2027
The long-requested Resident Evil: Code Veronica is finally getting a modern remake, scheduled for release in 2027. The survival horror, which originally debuted on the SEGA Dreamcast, is being completely rebuilt in RE Engine by the veteran team behind the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
The trailer showcased Claire Redfield's updated look, which closely resembles her design in Netflix's Resident Evil Infinite Darkness mini series. Although she was the only character highlighted in the teaser, the game is expected to also feature Chris Redfield and Steve Burnside.

Capcom has yet to share any details in Code Veronica's gameplay. However, the 4-minute video shared snippets of some of the game's key locations, which includes a messy apartments, a rundown research facility, and a mysterious prison island.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake is set to launch in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
