Reign of Nightfall Open Beta Launches in China
Features Master Love Elements

Reign of Nightfall entered open beta in China at 10:00 a.m. China Standard Time (CST) on June 5, 2026, allowing players to begin exploring the "joseimuke" (female-oriented games) RPG. The game was also recently confirmed to feature Master Love (ML) elements in an official livestream held on June 2.
The open beta is currently available in China through Bilibili Game, TapTap, 3839, the App Store, and the game's official PC launcher. Players can claim launch rewards, including free 5-star and 6-star cards. Reign of Nightfall also supports English voice-over despite its China-only release. Pre-downloads opened on June 4 alongside download instructions and recommended specifications for Android, iOS, and PC devices. No announcements regarding a global release have been made as of writing.

Formerly known as Project: Bang Bang or Code: Bang Bang, players take on the role of a family leader seeking revenge and rebuilding their family while navigating themes of power, hatred, desire, and betrayal, according to the game's 3839 listing via machine translation. The official website also introduces several characters, including those who go by the aliases "Red Gloves" and "Ghost."
During a June 2 livestream, the developer clarified that Reign of Nightfall does not include "yaoi bait" elements and is instead a Master Love (ML) game. Within female-oriented gaming communities, the term is often used to describe titles where the cast's emotional focus is directed toward the player character, a dynamic that players have also associated with games such as Love and Deepspace.
Reign of Nightfall's open beta is now available in China on Android, iOS, and PC.
