Pokémon Pokopia brings its in-game paradise to real life with a Pokopia Garden in London, open through September 2026. Here’s what to expect from the themed space.

Pokémon Pokopia Brings Real-World Garden Experience to London

Open To Public Through September 2026

Pokémon Pokopia opened a free Pokopia Garden on March 31 at The Mount in Acton, London. It was announced as part of a wider city collaboration with local organizations and businesses, featuring themed plant installations and immersive elements. The exhibit will run through September 30, 2026.

The "free-to-enter public space" recreates the game’s relaxed, nature-focused setting through curated greenery, including plant displays inspired by the game’s art style, "living walls," and Pokémon-themed terrariums. The installation is open 24/7 for the duration of the event.

In a press release, Peter Murphy, senior director of marketing at The Pokémon Company International, said: "In Pokémon Pokopia, players create a Pokémon paradise [that] everyone can live in. We wanted to bring some of that same feeling of growth and brightness to real-world communities, creating a space that is full of Pokémon Pokopia’s magic and open to all."

Similar Pokopia Gardens are also being set up in Paris, France, and Berlin, Germany, as part of a wider effort to create Pokémon-themed public spaces "aimed at bringing communities together."

Features Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms

Pokémon GO players can find Pokopia-themed PokéStops and Gyms at the Pokopia Gardens, where they can spin for items, collect Gifts, send them to friends, and save Postcards in their Postcard Book, a feature that stores postcards from visited locations.

This isn’t the first time Pokémon GO and Pokémon Pokopia have collaborated. A Pokopia Celebration event in Pokémon GO ran in March to mark the game’s release, featuring limited-time Timed Research, event bonuses, and costumed Ditto variants that could be encountered in the wild or earned through event tasks.

A Cozy Take on Pokémon

Released on March 5, Pokémon Pokopia is a life simulation title set in a post-apocalyptic version of the Kanto region, where players control a Ditto tasked with restoring abandoned habitats by gathering resources and rebuilding different areas. Since its release, the game has quickly become one of the fastest-selling Pokémon spin-offs. A recently announced collaboration with IKEA in Japan opened on April 1 and introduced themed in-store installations and a special in-game island.

Pokémon Pokopia is available now on Nintendo Switch 2. To stay up to date on the game, check out our related article below.
