
Pokémon Pokopia is set to release a free update and expansion pass this coming August, taking in players for a dive into the deep blue sea.

Diving Deep Into The Sea with Version 2.0

Pokémon Pokopia's adventure doesn't end yet as it introduces a free update and a paid Expansion Pass coming this August.
The free update will add a new skill called "Dive", allowing players to explore the world beneath the sea and even expand the town underwater by building structures and living with various Pokémon that thrive beneath the waves, such as Magikarp, Psyduck, Piplup, Vaporeon, and more.
Expansion Pass Adds Bubbly Basin, New Outfits, and New Pokémon

To further elevate this aquatic adventure, the paid Expansion Pass will introduce even more content this August. Players will discover a new town called the Bubbly Basin, where new Pokémon such as Popplio, Mudkip, and Corphish thrive. New outfits and new ocean-themed furniture

The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass is now available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop. Purchasing the pass will also grant access to future DLCs to follow, such as the new feature update in late 2026 and a new upcoming town arriving in 2027.
Additionally, subscribers to the pass will recieve recipes for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper, as well as a bonus reward of 30 rare Pokémetal ingots (attainable via code in email).
